We will come back to this topic again, but for now, to get started, I can offer this:
In the same way that the LAMM is a highly systematised type of site, so we need to systematise the site's promotion. So far the best single source I have come across that deals with site promotion in a systematic form is this: http://www.suggestedby.us/monetizesitesvideos
This is a video record of the process of setting up, monetising and promoting a website. The techniques used are easily copied and are designed to be set up as an ongoing system. The only downside is that some of this stuff gets a tad repetitive, but there are ways of automating at least part of it – blogs are quite amenable to systematised promotion (IMHO). Even if one did not do everything the same, the ideas of setting up promotion/marketing as a process is very good.
Currently J-P Schoeffel, the guy who made the videos is selling access to them for $27, apparently he is going to increase the price. He did incease the price, it is now a not inconsiderable $97 IMHO the information, if used, will earn much more than the cost of the videos, but it is a chunk of change!
Whether you pay the money to look, or not. I will be working to outline a viable promotion system for automated blogs in the near future. J-Ps ideas, being similar to mine will form some part of that system.

I agree.
Having seen the videos I am torn. I beleive that the information contained in them will generate MUCH more than the price, but I begrudge paying so much for an item that has increased in price so much. Also, it just seems like a lot of money.
